Music Typesetting

We’ve been typesetting and publishing shaped-note music for nearly 15 years. Over the years we have honed and developed the look and feel of our typesetting with custom designed music typefaces and music layout, inspired in part by the work of the Stamps-Baxter Music & Printing Company.

Some of the jobs we have done include larger hymnals (French and English), smaller books, and sheet music for individual composers.

• We can typeset your song(s) for you in either shaped-note or round-note format, using our clear, readable templates.
• We proofread each song after typesetting to catch as many mistakes as possible.
• We can edit your music and lyrics, or add four-part harmony to your melody. We edit in accordance to the guidelines of shaped-note, four-part harmony writing used by publishers such as A. J. Showalter, Stamps-Baxter Music & Printing Company, and their contemporaries.
